My smoothie addiction run year round. I can get away with cold beverages in the winter thanks to Arizona providing us all with a pretend winter season that imitates most peoples fall. This smoothie is packed with immune supporting nutrients thanks to the mighty healing powers of turmeric and ginger. To get the ombre effect I just added more turmeric powder to each layer. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 cup frozen mango
2 bananas
1/2 cup coconut milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 dates
1/2 inch chunk fresh ginger (can sub 1/2 tsp powdered ginger)
1/2 inch chunk fresh turmeric (can sub 1/2 tsp powdered turmeric)
Directions:
-Combine all ingredients in a high speed blender and blend until smooth.
